I have a friend who is a certified Diesel mechanic and he is rebuilding the Ford Lehman original engine.  About 3,700 hours.  He has completely deconstructed the engine to the pistons and replacing the berrings, all the hoses, gaskets, wires, belts, filters, cooling system, and more.

Video is first time being fired up after rebuild.

I sent an email to American Diesel and got a quick reply.  They sent me a very comprehensive list of parts you can order.  My engine is being completely stripped down and rebuilt, so the list is a great help.

Bob Smith returned my email.

As you can see from the pictures below, the entire engine room is gutted.  At the moment, the only things left are some drain pipes from the cockpit floor.

Everything is starting from scratch.  Old Generator has been sold off.  I don't know what it was. (Perhaps an anchor?)

Above: Birds eye view of Engine and Generator.  Through the cockpit floor

(Done by previous owner....thanks for the pictures...Nice work too)

Below: Engine room cleaned and painted.
